For over fifty years, Donald Shoop owned, managed, and nursed his namesake Insurance company to become the successful business it is today. His clientele gradually expanded from hard work and determination. However; the real reason for its growth was Don's natural gift with people. Blessed with an  unflappable spirit ,mixed with a quick wit, and an endless reservoir of jokes, Don always had a good word for everyone.  Naturally, his business would flourish as he was the ultimate  people person. He was always taking an interest in  people  with a sincere desire to help with their needs. He was networking  long before the internet, myspace, twitter, and the social media became a craze.

On March 21, 2008 he left us after succumbing to Leukemia.  He is gone but never forgotten.

 In an effort to continue the excellent service and tradition establish by Don; we are  keeping it in the family.  Now operated by Don's sister,  Mrs. Pat   Lafoon, her husband Kip, and their daughters Elaine and Donna; they are proud to serve  the fine people that Don had served and who's relationship he nurtured over the years.
